Dawn Mountain Rentals, located in the Dawn Mountain Chalet, offers rental equipment for classic & skate skiing (boots, poles, skis) and snowshoes (snowshoes, poles).

Rental equipment is only to be used at Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre during the day of your rental and needs to be returned before closing.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Interac, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and cash.

Anyone renting must have a credit card for damage deposit purposes and an authorization will be necessary.

Our staff are Nordic skiers, snowshoers, club members and regular users of Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre so you can expect to receive both quality equipment and knowledgeable tips on the sport and the trails. Whatever your skill level may be, we will guide you how to have safe and enjoyable experience.

Seasonal Rental Equipment for Adults

Dawn Mountain Rentals offers a seasonal rental option for adults.

This option includes classic ski equipment, skate ski equipment, or snowshoes when coming up to Dawn Mountain; all season long! The equipment is to be used only at Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre and is stored at the rental shop when not in use by the seasonal renter. The seasonal renter can contact the rental shop to set aside their equipment for the desired day so it’s ready upon arrival. Come by the Dawn Mountain Rentals at the Chalet during opening hours to get set up with your sizes.

Adult $224 Youth & Children Not available (except if registered in our club’s youth programs).
Includes 12% GST/PST taxes.

Seasonal Rental Equipment for Youth & Children
registered in Bunnyrabbits, Jackrabbits or Nordic Cruisers

The Golden Nordic Ski Club has a rental package (skis, boots, and poles) available for youth program participants.

The Take-Home Program: These limited spots are for participants who want to take the equipment home. This option is best for those who want to ski outside of their youth program sessions. Pick up date & times will be emailed. THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL.

The Leave-at-Chalet Program - You can can rent club equipment for your child to be used only during their youth program sessions provided we have your size (skis, boots, poles). The equipment stays at Dawn Mountain. Renters are required to complete a seasonal rental form in person that includes a credit card damage deposit.

  • Jackrabbits/Nordic Cruisers seasonal rental fee: $80 or $100 after Oct 31, 2025 plus 12% GST/PST tax (for 12 sessions).

  • Bunnyrabbits rental fee: $50 or $60 after October 31st, plus 12% GST/PST tax (for 10 sessions).
