Golden Nordic Ski Club is committed to ensuring that our website, facilities, and programs are accessible to all members of our community. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy Nordic skiing and outdoor recreation.

Our Commitment

We are working to ensure that our website and services meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continually seek ways to improve.

Website Accessibility

We aim to make our website accessible by:

  • Using clear, readable fonts and sufficient color contrast

  • Providing alternative text for images

  • Ensuring keyboard navigation is possible throughout the site

  • Using descriptive link text

  • Structuring content with proper headings

  • Making forms accessible with clear labels

  • Ensuring the site is usable on mobile devices

Note: Some third-party content (embedded maps, payment processors, registration systems) may have accessibility limitations beyond our direct control. We encourage feedback on any barriers you encounter.

Facility Accessibility

At Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre:

  • The chalet entrance is wheelchair accessible

  • Accessible parking is not fully available. We are working toward improvements.

  • Accessible washroom facilities are available

  • Service animals are welcome on the premises

Adaptive Programs

We welcome inquiries about accommodations for participants with disabilities. Please contact us in advance so we can do our best to meet your needs.
