The classic tracks are in excellent shape. Skate lanes are starting to firm up after the recent snowfall. Hopefully with a few more chilly nights they also will be in excellent shape.
Use caution on descents.

Dawn Mountain Snowshoe Trails
The snowshoe trails are open for the season! Our amazing club volunteers have worked hard packing the powder so we have a beautiful path to follow. Enjoy the tranquil time in the forests and wetlands.

Snowshoe Trail Guidelines
Sign in before heading out and pay the required trail fee (included with Golden Nordic Ski Club membership).
Wear snowshoes at all times—to the trailhead, on snowshoe trails, and when crossing ski trails—to prevent damage.
When crossing ski trails, walk beside the tracks and step over the ski grooves to keep them intact.
No dogs are permitted on any Dawn Mountain trails, including snowshoe routes.
Use trails at your own risk.
Golden Golf Course Trails
Last ski day is March 15, 2026,
( Golf course will be plowing over trails in preparation for the golf season) Warm temperatures have softened the snow into spring ski conditions, hard/icy in mornings, soft in the afternoons. Use caution throughout.

$2 cash donation per person before skiing (free with Golden Nordic Ski Club membership) Donation box located at the trailhead
Classic skiing only
No dogs or walking on or along the trails
Stay on the marked trails at all times — off-trail travel is not permitted
No washroom at the trailhead
Nearest facility: CBT trailhead at Kicking Horse Trail & Golf Course Road
