The Dawn Mountain Nordic Trail network within the Dawn Mountain Recreation Site is maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club Society in partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. These designated non-motorized recreation trails are managed for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing.

The Dawn Mountain trail system has been carefully developed by club members and the Provincial Government over a period of 25 years. It represents countless volunteer hours of designing, fundraising, and constructing trails and facilities for all skier abilities.

The Golden Nordic Ski Club Society hosts lessons and events under the authorization from the Recreation Officer as a partner and agreement holder with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. If any organizations who wish to teach lessons or host events on the Dawn Mountain Recreation Site they must request Authorization from the District Recreation Officer (Authorizations - Province of British Columbia (gov.bc.ca)) and have a letter of understanding/letter of support from the Golden Nordic Ski Club Society.

Golden Nordic Club gratefully acknowledges that we work, live and play on the TRADITIONAL territory of the Ktunaxa Peoples, which they share with the Secwepemc Peoples, and which is the home to the Métis Nation Columbia River Society.
