Trail Sign-In & Day-Use Fees

All trail users—cross-country skiers and snowshoers—must sign in before heading out.
Trail fees support grooming, maintenance, and safe operation of the trails.

How to Sign In

Sign in at either location:

  • Outdoor kiosk — at the bottom of the Chalet stairs in the parking lot
    (sign in and pay cash at the wooden desk)

  • Inside the Chalet — sign-in desk on the left upon entry
    (during Chalet opening hours 10.00am - 9.00pm)

You can also sign in online. Choose from the options below:

    • Cash: Yellow drop box at the bottom of the outside stairs (right side)

    • Inside the Chalet: We prefer debit and cash. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Interac, Apple Pay, Google Pay

      (during Chalet opening hours 10.00am - 4.00pm)

Cross-Country Ski Trail Day-Use Fees

  • Adult: $15

  • Student: $12

  • Youth (6–18): $6

  • Family: $35

  • Child (0–5): Free (please sign in all children)

Family = 1–2 adults and all children under 18 from the same household.
5% GST included.

Snowshoe Trail Day-Use Fees

  • Adult: $8.50

  • Student: $8.50

  • Youth (6–18): $5

  • Family: $25

  • Child (0–5): Free (please sign in all children)

Family = 2 adults and all children under 18 from the same household.
5% GST included.

Important Notes (Please Read)

Ski Touring
Ski touring access from the trailhead is discouraged. Touring typically requires extended parking and can damage groomed classic and skate tracks. A full day-use fee will be charged to ski tourers who access the trail system.

Golden Golf Course Trails

Classic cross-country skiing only
(No walking, skate skiing, snowshoeing, biking, or ski touring.)

  • Cash donation at the trailhead

  • Suggested donation: $2 per person for non-members
