The Golden Nordic Ski Club and Dawn Mountain Ski Trails are now open for full operations with the upper trails reporting to be in fair to good condition. More snow is falling today, and the weather is looking dynamic for the weekend! Starting Friday, December 14, 2018 the rental shop will be in the swing of things and ready to set you up in either classic and skate skis. Don’t forget to sign in at the lodge; stats are super important for us as a club.

Friday December 7 to Sunday December 9, 2018 – WE ARE OPENING! A “soft opening weekend” at Dawn Mountain. On Friday, December 7th, the Chalet will be open for public use, and will be closed again on the evening of Sunday, December 9th. Sorry the Rental Shop will not be open this weekend.
During the week of Monday, December 10th, through Thursday, December 13, the Chalet will not be open, however, the washroom facilities (downstairs) will remain open for public use during the week.
We are aiming for an Official Opening on Saturday, December 15th, pending getting some snow between now and then.
The current conditions at Dawn Mountain: fair. Conditions for Classic are favourable over Skating.
