It is a wrap folks, it has been a great season and we couldn’t do it without you! A big shout out to our 641 members who supported the club this year and those who volunteered many, many hours throughout the year preparing the trails, applying for grants, supporting events/ programs and upkeep of the chalet. Your work does not go unnoticed! We would love to show you our appreciation at a party to be held on May 6 – watch for details coming soon.

Cat grooming has been completed for the season; the chalet will be locked starting April 14th; you are still welcome to ski as long as there is snow but at your own risk of course.

Everyone is invited to join the Board of Directors at the upcoming Strategic Planning meetings to be held on May 6 and May 13th – 6:30 to 8:30, location to be announced.

The club will be looking into the future to set priorities/goals, strengthen the operations and develop a coordinated systematic course of direction for the club. Your insight is important!

Canadian Ski Nationals

Canadian Ski Nationals

Two of our local Nordic skiers Quinn Morgan and Ben Gadd race with the Kimberley Nordic Race Team. Together with their teammates they attended the Canadian Ski Nationals and came home with 4 medals! Ben and Sydney took 1st in Team Sprints, Marielle 2nd in Individuals Sprints, Quinn 3rd in Junior Girls aggregate points. Super proud of these young people, what an example they present for our community.
